Day 12
Day 12
Cori Ryan Cody Daniel Ingrid Elizabeth Michaela
It was not a victorious morning, at the Muffin Tribe, Paul Sean and Vedran sat together, almost as if they would never see each other again, they knew that they were as good as gone that day at Tribal Council, and there was nothing that could be done to stop it, at least that’s what they thought.
Sean knew that he couldn’t save his behind with Paul and Vedran following his every move. Katie, Julia, and Brittney wouldn’t be persuaded to vote one of their alliance members out, but he knew that if he could crack Mike and Dylan, he would be safe.
“Hey! Dylan, Mike, can I talk with you guys for a second?” Sean said with a fake laugh.
“Okay, listen. I’m not going to lie to you, I know that it’s going to be either me, Paul, or Vedran voted out tonight, but before I leave, I need to make sure that you are aware of something,” Sean said with a certainty in his voice.
“Okay, go ahead.” Dylan said, not wondering what was about to happen.
“Here it goes,” Sean said, taking in a breath “You are in an alliance with Katie, Brittney, and Julia. Once the three of us are gone, who do you think is next? The girls are going to stick together; do you not realize that they are picking us off one at a time? It is going to be the three of them together in a merge!”
“You are right,” Mike said as he cleared his throat.
“We need to get them out of power,” Dylan agreed.
“So then it is settled, we will get rid of them one by one. Katie is first, will we be voting for her tonight?” Sean asked.
“For sure,” Dylan and Ryan said together.
For one night, The Banana tribe had absolutely nothing to worry about, they had a fresh food supply, Cori would never cook again, and they could take their minds off of the game for a little while.
The tribe was sitting in a circle, telling stories, roasting bananas over an open light bulb. Everything was peaceful for once, the fighting, the backstabbing, and the lying. This was the first real teamwork that the Banana Tribe had shown all season, too bad somebody had to go and ruin it.
“OOH! Cody is sitting next to Elizabeth!” Cori shouted obnoxiously.
“Would you just SHUT UP CORI???? Can’t you keep your big mouth shut for ONE MINUTE?” Elizabeth screamed in a fit of rage.
Cody realized that actions speak louder than words as he crushed a banana and threw the mush right at Cori, hitting her right in the face. At this, Daniel was prompted to yell “FOOD FIGHT!” and the banana’s started to fly. Food was going in every which way, but the thing is that even though the fight started out angrily, they were all laughing in the end.
All of them covered in banana were thinking the same thing,
“Man! I wish we won that ultra-spa!” Daniel moaned as he used yet another shower token.
“Hey, it was for a good cause, how much fun was that!” Ingrid said enthusiastically.
“Yeah, that was loads of fun,” Elizabeth exclaimed. “But once again, we’ve used up the bananas!”
“Oh well! I just wish I had some more so I could chuck em' at you!” Cody laughed.
So despite the fact that there is almost always bickering in this tribe, they still know how to have fun!
“Okay, listen.” Dylan said to Mike, “We won’t vote Katie off, because by them time that the three of them are gone, then we will have merged, don’t you agree?”
“But, what if she decides to get us off before then? Dylan, I don’t trust her one bit!” Mike snapped back.
“Mike, you need to trust her to keep to her word and vote them out first!” Dylan said.
Mike didn’t like the way that Dylan said “they” as he responded “Fine, whatever, as long as I’m not the one getting voted out tonight,” Mike said, and with that, they were on their way to Tribal Council.
“Welcome survivors, once again to Tribal Council. Tonight, one of you will leave the mall forever. But first, I’m going to ask you some questions.” Andrew said in the same tone he said it every other day.
“What did you think of Brittney’s ejection into the game? Katie, you can answer this one.”
“I think it is not necessarily fair, but a twist nonetheless. I mean, if she didn’t come into the game, there wouldn’t have been an immunity or tribal council this week. What’s done is done,” Katie explained.
“Fair enough,” Andrew said. “Brittney, what was it like for you to be thrown from the luxury into the survival aspect of the game?”
“Well it is certainly a hard adjustment to make. But you guys should realize that I’m on your team, I’m with you and I am going to play hard if you are planning to get me out today or next week,” Brittney said thinking of Katie.
“Alright! Then it is time to vote, Paul, you’re up first.” Andrew explained.
So one by one they voted, until the last person, Katie, cast her vote.
“Paul, you just need to go, it is nothing personal but you need to be out of here, see you later.” Katie said as she walked back.
“I’ll go tally the votes, the person voted out will be asked to leave the tribal council area immediately. Are you ready?” Andrew asked as the survivors nodded their heads.
“First vote, Paul” Andrew read the next seven cards.
“Second Vote, Paul”
“Third Vote, Katie” Andrew read as Katie dropped her jaw.
“Fourth Vote, Paul”
“Fifth Vote, Paul, that is four votes for Paul and one for Katie.
“And the fourth person voted out of survivor, Paul. Please pass me your torch.”
“Paul, the tribe has spoken.” Andrew said as he extinguished Paul’s torch.
“Bye guys! I’ll see you later.” Paul said, as Katie could have sworn she saw a tear fall from his eye.
On the Next Episode of Survivor
Katie hunts for meat as she searches for the one that voted for her. Will more fights break out at the Banana tribe? And will the loyalty the Dylan and Mike hold to Katie stand strong, as it has shown already? Who will win the next immunity challenge? Find out next time. (Scroll for Final Words)
Paul’s Final Words
Well, I gave it all I had. I think I made my biggest mistake when I aligned myself with Jeff and the other guys. I would do it again in a heartbeat, but I would look for stronger alliances. Peace out.
