Day 3

Episode One: Not A Typical Day At The Mall

Day 3

It was an early morning over at the Banana Barn as Cody and Ryan were the first awake.

“Listen,” Cody said, “If you want to have any hope at all at winning the million bucks, you need alliances. No one in the right mind would expect us to have an alliance, so this is how it is going to work. I will set up a mock alliance with Steven and Daniel, we will then have majority. By then the merger should have taken place. Understand?”

“Yes, but aren’t you afraid this might blow up in our faces?” Ryan questioned Cody’s credibility.

“Really Ryan, do you not trust me with this?” Cody said angrily.

“Fine, I’ll go along with this, I guess.” Ryan was uncertain about this alliance and knew what he had to do.

As Ryan walked over to Ingrid and Elizabeth, he found them discussing alliances as well. This is when Ryan decided to take matters into his own hands. He told the three of them Cody’s intentions and realized that he now had majority and was in power.

Things couldn’t be worse over at the Grapefruit Tribe as Cori and Dylan were at each other’s throats constantly. Michaela sighed, as she knew that the Immunity challenge was fast approaching and she questioned whether or not they would have the teamwork skills necessary to complete it, but they showed up nonetheless as the MTV’s arrived at each camp and took them to challenge centre.

“Welcome to Challenge Centre, this is where all challenges and tribal council meetings take place, Muffin Tribe has been here once before, but this is the first time for the other two tribe, you will be competing for the immunity idol” Andrew explained as Brittney revealed a Cash Register that split into two parts “The immunity idol is in two parts, one for each tribe, the last tribe to complete the challenge will be visiting us at Tribal Council. Ready to hear your challenge?”

As the tribes prepared themselves for the challenge, Cori and Dylan were once again heard exchanging one-liners between themselves.

“This challenge,” Brittney said, trying to get the attention of the audience, is an obstacle course. Each tribe will be given a shopping cart and a list of five items to find throughout the mall, the first two tribes to meet back here with all five items in their carts win immunity”

“Survivors ready? Go!” Andrew exclaimed as the tribes grabbed their carts and head out.

Each tribe went in a different direction as they looked at their list, the five items were as followed:

- Bounty Double Roll Toilet Paper
- Steelers Official Sideline Cap
- Cat Nip
- Lego Star Wars – C3PO Individual
- Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince

These items were all located throughout local stores in the mall.

The Muffin Tribe started by running into PetPlace in search of Cat Nip, they were lucky when they heard Julia yell

“Hey guys! Over here! I’ve found the Cat Nip”

The Grapefruit Tribe, in a toy store next to PetPlace overheard this and made Vedran run next door to get the Cat Nip. As he approached the toy store once again, he heard Andrew say over the intercom “Banana Tribe – 3, Muffin Tribe – 2, Grapefruit Tribe – 1” at the sound of this he blew up inside and ran into the toy store to find Dylan and Cori going at it again.

“Dylan! I can’t believe you sometimes!”
“Cori! You are sick! I hate you!”

“You guys, STOP!” the rest of the tribe yelled in unison.

By the time this happened, Brittney was on the intercom

“Banana Tribe, Wins Immunity! Muffin Tribe with 4”

“Let’s go!” Vedran yelled. While Vedran and the others ran, Josh noticed Mitchell at the back of the group, almost walking as if he wasn’t even trying.
Meanwhile, The Muffin Tribe was still on their fourth item when they heard Andrew on the intercom saying that the Grapefruit’s now had three.

“Mike! Let’s Go!” Paul yelled at the top of his lungs.

Mike was deep into reading of the sixth Harry Potter book “The Half Blood Prince” and he would not budge until Jeff decided to take action. He ripped the book from Mike and punted it as far as it would go.

The Grapefruit Tribe, now working as hard as they could, were saddened when they heard Andrew once again,

“Muffin Tribe, Wins Immunity! Grapefruit’s are going to see us at Tribal Council tonight! Go back to camp and rest up. You’re going to need it.”

Back at the Grapefruit Tribe, Mitchell was about to seal the deal as he confronted Vedran, Josh, and Dylan,

“Cori is a pest and she needs to become what all pests become, exterminated. Can I count on your vote for Cori tonight, we have majority after all.” Mitchell persuaded

As he got their assurance of a vote for Cori, he made his way over to the two girls to assure that they voted for Dylan,

“The guys are planning to vote for you Cori, at the next Tribal. If I can count on your vote towards Dylan, we can make it a tie and try to convince one of the guys to side with us. So, what do you think?”

Once again, he received assurance from the girls on their vote for Dylan right before they left on the MTV’s to Tribal Council.

“Welcome to Tribal Council, there are six of you now, but there will only be five remaining by the end of the night. If you would step forward towards us we will begin,” Andrew explained.

As the castaways stepped forward, Brittney revealed a cash register, coloured blue, just like their tribe colour as she said,
“ Inside the register, there are six credit cards, a credit card represents your life in the mall, without it, you have no life. If you are the one that is voted out tonight, your credit card will be cut and you will be asked to leave the tribal council area immediately. Before we start voting, we have a few questions to ask you,”
“What happened to you guys during the immunity challenge?” Andrew asked.

“Well, a few of our tribe mates decided to get into a little fight and let it interfere with our teamwork and overall, reflected upon how we performed at today’s immunity challenge,” Michaela spoke in turn.

“Who were these individuals?” Brittney questioned.

“Dylan and Cori,” Mitchell responded, trying to keep the smirk off his face.

“Well, it’s time to vote. Josh, you’re up first.” Andrew explained.

Josh and Vedran were first to cast their votes. Mitchell knew that they would stay loyal to them. He smirked with great evil as he then watched Cori, Michaela and Dylan go up to vote. He was last to vote as he revealed his vote to the camera,

“These people are just too stupid to catch on to my plot. The girls voting for the guys, the guys voting for the girls and Cori going home. It’s perfect, I have nothing to lose, so I am casting this vote for myself,”

As he held up his vote, he danced back to his seat and watched as Andrew got the cashier filled with the votes (which were written on mall receipts).

“We will now tally the votes. The person voted out is to leave tribal council area immediately with all of their belongings” Andrew explained

“Wait!” Cori yelled, “Before you tally the votes, I have an announcements to make!” at the sound of this, chills went down Mitchell’s spine “Dylan and I have resolved our conflict and have voted for the person deserving of going home,”

At the sound of this, Mitchell turned bright pink as he saw Cori and Dylan both shooting dirty looks his way. What had he done, foolishly voting for himself? How could he have been so immature?

“The first vote, Dylan,” Brittney read as Michaela recognized it.
“The second vote, Cori,” Vedran laughed, as he did in awkward situations.
“The third vote, Mitchell” Andrew read out loud, this one was Mitchell’s own.
“The fourth vote, Mitchell. That is one vote Cori, one vote Dylan, and two votes Mitchell,” Mitchell was sweating like a broken faucet.
“The first person voted out of Survivor – Swenty Tix is, Mitchell. Mitchell please bring me your card,”

Mitchell brought his card up to Andrew. Who had pulled out a rustic pair of scissors. He looked back at Cori and Dylan and said

“You out-played me, fair and square”

“Mitchell, the tribe has spoken,” Brittney said as Mitchell left the area in an MTV.

“Well, it looks like you guys have already started to out-play each other, head back to camp and get some rest,” Andrew said.

Mitchell’s Final Words

“Well, I tried my best. I guess I just started playing the game too hard too early. I have to hand it to Cori and Dylan though; they had me convinced I was in power until Cori made that announcement. They handed it to me on a silver platter, and for that I have to give them props.

If I were asked to come back, I definitely would. However, I would probably lay back and let the alliances and controversy come to me, rather than chase after it. I had fun and would be willing 100% to come back and do it again

See ya in Survivor 2!
