Day 11

Cori Ryan Cody Daniel Ingrid Elizabeth Michaela
Once the Muffin Tribe had fully awakened, Brittney explained what she was doing there.
“Since Jeff had left, the producers chose me to take the place of him, now I know that Jeff is better at some things than I am, and that alliances will be broken, but at least you have another tribe member.”
“Welcome to the group!” Katie said happily.
With Katie, Julia, Dylan and Mike, they now had majority of the tribe. Katie was very pleased that the cockiness of the tribe was down to a low. Katie was pleased that she would now have some sort of power over the tribe. There was nothing the three stooges (Vedran, Sean, and Paul) could do to save themselves. For the first time during her stay in the mall, Katie relaxed.
Just because Katie relaxed doesn’t mean that she stops playing the game, Katie and Julia were discussing their strategy in the girls washroom, where they always had.
“Okay, so once we get rid of the three stooges, Mike and Dylan will follow and then Brittney, Even if we merge, we need to stick together, to the final two!” Katie exclaimed.
“Fine by me, but I think we should keep Brittney around until the final three to have a stronger alliance.” Julia questioned.
“No, Julia, you don’t understand, she is just a pawn, and we only need her vote, nothing more!” Katie said evilly.
As Katie and Julia walked out of the girl’s bathroom, Brittney, now in tears, walked out of the next stall over.
“If they think that I am just a pawn, they don’t know what is coming!” Brittney said with a vengeance.
Paul, Vedran, and Sean were confident that this new addition to the girl’s alliance couldn’t scratch them.
“We have Dylan and we can swing Mike if we really need to! We’ll be fine” Vedran tried to put some faith into his alliance but they knew that they were in trouble.
“Right, and as long as we keep winning immunity we can make it to the merger! We just need to stick together, right guys?” Sean said enthusiastically.
Dylan was happy where he was now, he realized that is he let Cori get in the way of his game, he wouldn’t see her again. So he vowed under his breath.
“I am going to play this game for me and make it to the merge no matter what!”
Mike had been playing the game under the radar ever since he had put his tribe on bran muffins. This strategy worked for Mike, who was in the middle of two alliances, the perfect place for him to be. His new strategy was to have everybody like him, and so far it was working. If he kept up what he was doing, he would start fresh and play hard once the two tribes merged.
Ingrid and Elizabeth were up bright and early over at the Banana Camp talking strategy.
“I really don’t trust Cody, Lizzie! I know that there is no way he can out number us, but I still feel like he has something up his sleeve, and if he does, he is going to target me first! I don’t feel safe in an alliance with him!”
“I know, but what else can we do right now? Are we just going to tell him that we refuse to align with him? What do you suppose we do?” Elizabeth asked.
“Well…erm…I don’t know, all I know is that I’m not trusting him!” Ingrid said stubbornly.
“Let’s just wait and see who goes to Tribal Council tonight okay?” Elizabeth reassured her.
“Okay, but if it is us, I am not going to be happy!” Ingrid winked at Elizabeth as the others woke up.
Cody, still in awe that the girls actually formed an alliance with him to pick off the other guys, woke up with the others and peeled himself a banana. He went over to talk to Daniel, his only other alliance member left and discussed with him who he would be voting out tonight.
“Hey Danny, we are going to vote for Ingrid tonight okay, she really needs to go!” Cody lied blatantly.
“Okay, I got it boss!” Daniel said obediently.
As Michaela, Cori and Glyde woke up, Cori decided to make breakfast for the tribe. She took the entire stock of bananas, mashed them up and put the mush in a bowl. She handed a bowl to each castaway and watched, as the faces of the castaways grew disgusted with this meal.
“Cori! Did you take the peel off of the banana?!?” Ingrid asked as she struggled to swallow the mush.
“Oh…I knew that I forgot something!” Cori said as she hit herself on the forehead.
“And that’s not the worst part!” Elizabeth cried. “She used up all of our banana’s! There is NONE left”
The rule with the food was that you would not receive more food until all of your current food was eaten. This meant that the banana tribe could not get any more bananas until they finished the gross mush.
Everyone in the tribe was peeved with Cori, including her own alliance.
“I’m so stupid!” Cori thought to herself, “Could I have put a bigger target on my back!” If we lose the immunity challenge tonight, I’m done. I need to win that challenge!
So as it seems, both Cori and Dylan have both learned to play for themselves and not let silly relationships get in the way of their game. With two of the most stubborn players wanting this win so very badly, who would take it? They were about to find out as Michaela called “Mall Mail!”
Paper, Scissors, and the Rock
To win this challenge you’ll run, not walk
For if an opponent you will meet
In this little game, you will have to beat
“What do you think it means?” Brittney asked.
“Shouldn’t you know?” Paul wondered, “You were behind the scenes and all.
Paul felt that Brittney’s entry into the game was all but unfair. She knew the alliances, challenges and everything that went on behind the scenes. She also had more energy and rest because she had real food, and was practically pampered.
“Welcome Survivors! This is the immunity challenge!” Andrew greeted them. “As you can see, my former partner Ms. Camcorder is now a proud member of the muffin tribe,”
As the mouths of the Banana dropped, Andrew explained the challenge.
“You will be playing a game called “Rock, Paper, Scissors, Or Bust!” In this game you will line up and one by one make your way across the balance beams to several platforms in order to get to the other end of the stage. At the end of the stage are seven credit cards, each with a tribe members name on it. Once you get to the other end, you grab your card and make your way back. If you happen to fall, you will land in a pit of pudding and be forced to go back to the start and do it over again. However, if two opposing castaways meet on a platform, they will be forced to participate in a match of rock, paper, scissors. Whoever wins that game will be able to continue on their way, but whoever loses must jump off the platform and do the course over again. If you are holding a card and lose, you will put the card down on the platform you are on and only have to go to that platform, pick up your card and put it in the register. The first tribe to have all seven cards in their register and pull the lever wins immunity.”
“Muffin, who is sitting out?” Andrew asked.
“We’ll sit Brittney out this challenge,” Katie responded.
“Okay, You’re positions are as followed!” Andrew said as he gave out the positions.
Vedran
Paul
Sean
Mike
Katie
Julia
Dylan
Michaela
Daniel
Ryan
Elizabeth
Cody
Ingrid
Cori
“Take your places, Survivors ready? Go!” Andrew yelled as Vedran and Michaela.
Michaela, running faster, and more agile on the beams than Vedran, scooted right past him before they had a chance to meet. Michaela grabbed the card and headed straight back to the register. Vedran however, didn’t do so well. As he struggled to get to the first platform, he fell and went back to the beginning. This time he thought that slow and steady would win the race, so he got down on his bum and pulled himself all the way to the cards, avoiding Daniel, who zoomed by, Vedran grabbed the card and hurried back.
Paul and Sean did a good job of catching up. By the time Sean caught up he was equal with Ryan who fell off after Sean won the Rock, Paper, Scissors. Sean finished early, but Ryan finished shortly after.
Elizabeth did the course in a breeze, but Mike struggled, he fell time and time again. By the time Mike finished, Cody and Ingrid were done. Katie did the best she could as she knocked Cori off the platform once. But it to no avail as Cori finished the course and the register sounded as Andrew yelled.
“Banana! Wins immunity!”
Dylan was disappointed that he didn’t win, but at least he knew that he was safe, at least, he hoped.
