Day 6
Episode 2: Alliances Anonymous?
Day 6
Michaela was nervous but confident at the same time. Could she trust her alliance of Dylan and Cori? Or would they backstab her and vote her out because of her performance at the challenge. She knew it was up to her to find out before it was too late.
“Cori, Dylan, can I talk to you for a second?” Michaela asked.
“Yes sure, go ahead. You did an excellent job at the challenge yesterday,” Cori responded.
“Well, I know that some people in the tribe want me out of here. But I want you to be honest with me. Will you honour out alliance and not vote me out?” she was upfront.
“Of course we won’t!” Dylan said, “You know us better than that,” he smirked.
“Well, that is good then, who are we going to vote out tonight?” Michaela let then decide as she could care less, as long as she had power.
“Vedran is more useful to the tribe, plus he is cuter,” Cori said as Dylan hit her playfully.
“Agreed. Josh is gone tonight,” Michaela spoke as if it was a done deal.
Josh and Vedran were at the other side of the tribe talking about the upcoming tribal.
“We need majority, and there are more guys in this tribe. Let’s get Dylan over here,” Vedran said as Dylan walked over.
“Dylan can we count on your vote for Cori at tonight’s tribal?” Josh asked.
“Yeah, sure. Us guys have to stick together! Right?” Dylan said with enthusiasm.
It looked like Dylan was the swing vote. He could vote with the guys, or vote with the girls. All he knew was that he had power.
At the Banana tribe, the strong power struggle that was going on may have just finished. Ingrid and Ryan were talking to Elizabeth about her traitorous actions.
“So Elizabeth, when did the toilet get moved to the other side of the tribe?” Ingrid yelled.
“I’ll tell you, since she tried to betray us and get you voted out,” Ryan grunted.
“I knew it wasn’t a smart idea to bring friendships into the game! Well, now I’ve got one less friendship!” Ingrid yelled.
“Wait, you guys stop! You don’t even know what I was doing!” Elizabeth tried to defend herself
“Don’t know what you were doing! Is that some kind of sick joke! You said I didn’t contribute anything to this tribe!” Ingrid yelled.
“I was just throwing ideas around, you should be begging for me to come back because you are so out of here without me! I am truly sorry,” Elizabeth sounded like she meant it.
“Well, we forgive you,” Ingrid said with a wink “Come on, let’s get some sleep.”
The muffin tribe could be doing no better as Katie and Julia were in the spa getting manicures.
“Do you think the other blondes are going to like that you’re getting a manicure?” Julia asked.
“Meh,” Katie said, “It’s not like they’ll ever know!” she smirked.
They were laughing as Mike walked over, Mike said convincingly
“They guys want me to vote with them, but you have my vote at Tribal Council and I swear on it,”
“Well… okay,” Katie seemed unsure of this.
“You have to have at least some trust in people,” Julia explained.
“I guess you are right,” Katie said as she finished the manicure “Wow! That looks great!”
“Welcome to Tribal Council! You know what happens already, so lets jump right in,” Andrew greeted them.
“So, what was your major problem at this weeks reward challenge?” Brittney asked.
“It was me, my knee acted up in the water and I couldn’t swim any longer. It’s a good thing Dylan came to rescue me,” Cori looked at Dylan and winked.
“Understandable,” Andrew said “What about the immunity challenge? Michaela I’ll let you answer this one,”
“Well, I did the best I could. I don’t know how the challenge creators knew that sushi was my most hated food. It was a weak spot and they found it,”
“Well, all is said, and all is done. Let’s get to the voting, Vedran is up first,” Brittney said.
One by one they voted. Vedran, Josh, Cori, Michaela and as Dylan showed his vote he said,
“I’m sorry guys, but I just can’t vote off Cori, so you’ll have to go instead.”
“We’ll tally the votes, the person voted off will be asked to leave the tribal council area immediately,” Brittney said.
“First vote, Cori,” Brittney read.
“Second vote, Josh. That’s one vote Cori, one vote Josh.,” Andrew read.
“Third Vote, Josh. Two votes Josh, one vote Cori.” Brittney read.
“The second person voted out of the mall. Josh. Please bring me your credit card.” Andrew said as he cut the card
“The tribe has spoken,” Brittney said.
“Well, that is another comrade down, or was he really even a comrade at all? I think this tribe has some issues to work towards. Go get some sleep, you’ll definitely need it.” Andrew said.
Josh’s Final Words
“Hey, I played the game the only way I knew how. Lurking in the shadows and not being noticed. If I were to play the game again, I would work towards a goal by doing whatever I needed to. I would be the one going out to get an alliance, not the one being asked. As for if I will come back for season 2. I’ll think about it. See y’all on the flipside!
